Forbes Explains Why Immigration Helps

Forbes published an article entitled “7 Facts You Didn’t Know About High-Skilled Immigrants“. It was very interesting to read this article which highlights some surprising facts regarding highly skilled immigrants. I had no idea that 42% of America’s Top Cancer Researchers are Immigrants! I wonder how many of the nonimmigrant researchers are actually first generation children of immigrants.

I strongly recommend you read the article . The article also talks about the EB3 issue, stating that immigrants from India can wait 70 years for a Green Card and that Current Immigration Quotas Were Set Before Smartphones and the World Wide Web.

Anti-immigration advocates should pay particular attention to the fact that High-Skill Visas Have Funded Over 70,000 Scholarships for U.S. Students in STEM Fields and to the fact that More Than Half of America’s Billion Dollar Startups Had an Immigrant Founder.

This reminds me of the joke I saw on Facebook awhile ago:

Dear Americans, Your car is German. Your vodka is Russian. Your pizza is Italian. Your kebab is Turkish. Your democracy is Greek. Your coffee is Brazilian. Your tea is Tamil. Your shirt is Indian. Your oil is Saudi Arabian. Your electronics are Chinese. Your numbers Arabic, your letters Latin. And you complain that your neighbor is an immigrant!!!??

The answer is YES, it is possible to do so. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions!
